Manco 16
I take it as read that you, like me, admire good marksmanship and a humane, disciplined, one-shot-kill approach to pest control with an air rifle or firearm. We are fortunate to know Si and others through this forum who go the extra mile to put this 'philosophy' into practice and their videos testify to this. (I have ordered the first three and I'm saving up for No. 4!) LOL But, to continue with this post, I was following up some leads on You-Tube concerning the Russian-made Edgun Matador pcp, a pocket battleship if ever there was one This is when I stumbled across "Ed Gun's" shooting and hunting videos on You-Tube. If you haven't seen him in action yet, I guarantee you will be impressed, as I was, by his marksmanship, understanding and application of air gun ballistics, and humane approach to hunting vermin. I commend to you particularly his three-part series "Pigeon Shooting In High Wind". zini 1,939
Hi Chris, This chap has been on my sub list now for about 6 months and he is a very knowledgable shooter who understands the ballistics involved in air rifle shooting very well. Its from his videos that i ended up buying my Seben scope camera mount which works a treat on my rifle . The one thing i would say is the bloke can sometimes be a little too complicated in his explainations and mathematics for the average Tom and sometimes leaves me thinking "heyyyyyy" and needing to replay and pause and listen again :blink . His demo on clean and dirty barrels in slow motion is a good one to watch and hold over and under in the wind out to about 150 yards-ish. I would really recommend others watching his video clips. Thanks for also buying my DVDs. ATB Si. Quote Link to post
pianoman 3,587
I watch his stuff on Youtube too, he's very good to watch and his vids are informative. I'd like to try the Matador air rifle he has. If I have it right, US law means there are no limits to how powerful an air rifle can be so, there's a few irrelavancies to our situation as a result. But generally, his shooting is great to watch and study from. Simon Quote Link to post
