pest control jobs

Hi all i live in the north east and am determined to gain employment in the pest control industry, ive researched this for months now and have found somewhere to gain the relative training but have had no luck in finding any jobs anywhere in northumberland ive spoken to the local council and also emailed the big companies with no reply. if anyone could give me a little advice on where else to look or if any one knows of any vacancies that arent advertised i would be extremely grateful.

Hi Rob, I think you will be struggling at the moment. Most Local authorities are cutting back and some are subcontracting their pest control operations. Most big companies have a recruitment ban due to the recession which is still hitting most of the high street shops, pubs, restaurants and clubs.

 

That said, jobs are coming up but nothing like the quantity of five years ago.

its getting harder to find this kind of work,most of the big companys get the contracts but i wish you all the best bud
