mickyatch 37 Posted April 7, 2011 Report Share Posted April 7, 2011 Alright lads and ladies .... my labradors about 2 years old and has always been of a racery build but now im worrying hes gettin to thin ... hes been wormed very recently but is still think im feeding him wagg worker 21% protein i think with pasta and bits of cooked chicken and shortening his walks to try and bump his weight up does anyone have any advice to help him gain weight ?? Dave C 63 Posted April 10, 2011 Report Share Posted April 10, 2011 My Lab bitch was the same last year only she was loose all the time as well, i tried a few different foods (wagg being one of them)until i found one that suited her, she is on DR John Gold now, putting a little weight on, not too much like cause i like them fit and her stools have firmed right up. gadge 2 Posted April 12, 2011 Report Share Posted April 12, 2011 Hi mate, its got to be the food to much protein make your dog very loose unless your working them alot then they need the chicken etc,i feed mine on skinners maintaince its got 19% protein then whenthe shooting season starts i go up to 24% protein and there stools are fine, Quote Link to post
