ironman andy 0
Evening everyone. This is my first post on this forum. Please excuse my spelling and grammer, Wordsworth I am not!! Anyway, here is my question for anyone interested. I have an Air Arms TX200 (.22 cal) and I was wondering what pellets would suit the gun? At the moment I am using Bisley Super Field. I am going bunny bashing and I could do with some advice as to which pellets would suit. I know each gun has its own identity, and the pellet needs to be individually matched to it, but to narrow the field down would save me buying dozens of tins of different pellets. BTW Super Fields ok but 3 from 10 are real fliers (or is it just my bad marksmanship ??) Cheers all. Ironman. Quote Link to post
bunny bouncer 0
Hi andy i`ve got a tx my self with springers you will find they prefer lighter pellets so i would use accupell bisley long range gold or mosquito express light pellets but still heavy enough to knock rabbits over hope this helps cheers stu Quote Link to post

tote 854
My brother in law used nothing but Eley wasp in his TX200 and the grouping was spot on, just shows it's not always the dearest pellets that suit. Quote Link to post
mad al 146
Hi Andy, I use accupell and propell, but tend to try out anything that takes my fancy really. Use a lot of H&N field and target trophy, RWS superdomes and superpoints........Al :thumbs-up: Quote Link to post

The reason I ask is although I have already replied recommending other brands, the Bisleys are a good pellet IMHO, good enough to shoot the staples that hold a paper target up when I set up a rifle at 25 yards, something that a lot of the more popular pellets fail to do...................Al Quote Link to post
ironman andy 0
Hi Al, I have been getting good results with the Super Fields (now I have learned to shoot straighter ). Surprisingly for cheep pellets, I have been getting good results with the Eley Wasps too. I went to a air rifle club last night and was shown some errors in my shooting and the results are improving. Also Molecatcher has been helping me with my handling of the rifle (cheers mate). I actually managed to get a couple of pellets through a 12mm diameter hole at 50mtrs last night, (must have put about 100 down though). So all in all it was me, not poor pellets. Thanks for your posts Al. Cheers, Andy Quote Link to post
