It might help if you have constant food supply available (at least for another month or so, while he is a little dab) so he knows where food always is, thus reducing the temptation to eat poo. Mind you he'll probably grow out of it. My dog (at age 11) went through a phase of eating pieces of wood, it lasted about 6m. claybusers al 9 Posted April 8, 2011 Report Share Posted April 8, 2011 my lab used eat her own but managed to stop her just by being on top of her but she eats the terriers shit all the time unless you stop her and she will eat any shit of any other animal all the time and now the terriers copy her its a nightmare. they are regulaly wormed and have constant food it drives me mad.
