Hi lads,   I decided that after a afternoon sleep today I was going to have a couple of hours of shooting on the permission as the sun was shining bright and the bunnies would probably be out soakin

I'm assuming those that wouldn't shoot a young rabbit wouldn't shoot a female rabbit that might have young to ground?

Or am I missing something about summer hunting

Lets not ruin zinis excellent thread with any kind of off the point argument.

I think it has less to do with the morals of shooting them, sometimes it IS needed, but has more to do with folk sticking loads of photos up of it and laying them out, to show how many 'kills' they have had, thinking it somehow makes them the 'great white hunter' or some kind of 'scout sniper'.

If the lads asked to do pest control they get shot plain and simple or the next guy that chaps on that farmers door will do it and get the permission . Remember the landowners the boss what they say goes.
