exactly the same with my bull cross pup shes fine until theres another dog in site or even a person. it might be because of the excitement of being a pup & meeting another dog she is coming back a bit quicker but i cant stop her running in.

You shouldn't run after her,you would do better running in the opposite direction, the dog will then think they are being left and should come back.Another way is to get down onto your knees and make a whooping shreiking sound, they find this so weird that they come back to see what is the problem.Don't forget to praise them when they come back, and never shout at them when they eventually do come back however long it has taken,or they will associate coming back with something negative.Good luck.....it just takes patience and time!

HI MAACCY

you will get this prob from time to time :hmm: , but your dog is still a pup what is he 5or 6 months old, all he wants to do is play, his life is a big game to him at the mo so what you need to do is play him at his own game.

you need to make him dependent on you keep him geussing break his rountine, it sonds like you have got him in a rountine, things like feeding him at the same time every day, walking him in the same places,

when you do all this the pup gets comfortable with whats going on in his life so then he starts to take the piss a bit.

so when you break rountine the pup feels uncomfortable then he will strat to look for security which will be you or the closest thing to him.

hope ive helped mate :thumbs-up: :thumbs-up:

i would keep away from the pupy class because all he will do is try and play with the other pups

just do what i said and it will come good.

at the mo you are doing the running not the dog but by fu=#ing his rountine up he will so come round.

here is some thing for you leave him on his own for a week just see him at feed times don't make a fuss of him and don't take him out, i bet at the end of that week he sticks to you like shit on a blankit :D;)
