What's the protein percentage. Go half and half with something with less protein content in it. Never used Red Mills myself have heard it cam make their stools a bit loose??? brambles 3,179
I would say the dog is getting far to much protein,if your not burning it off him with a lot of work or exercise he,ll certainly be jumping out his skin.It can also have the opposite effect on his skin and coat leading to serious itching and lose of hair. zigzag dan 784
I tried it a few years ago as my dad used to sell it as he had an animal feed business , my dogs went out of control and after a nights lamping they were like a toastrack !!! Its ok for a greyhound that needs explosive speed for a short time but you need more substance in a lurcher , ive fed raw for 4 years now and wouldnt go back to complete feeds . lurcherterrierferret 2
Mines on the red mills tracker at the moment, though not really noticed much difference between him being on a normal working dog food to this, though I am converting to a raw meat diet gradually now, has to be the best way.
