DOG INSURANCE

Recommended Posts

Do any of you have your dogs insured. I realise that hunting, racing and coursing (which is banned anyway) would void your policy. And that some breeds are exempt - they'll insure lurchers but not deerhounds??? But a dog getting killed in another way (i.e running into a wire net fence) - which we've read about on this site in the past few days would be covered as would theft, illness etc. I'm thinking of insuring my pup. Any thoughts, experience would be appreciated.

Insure the dog as a Mongrel ( Your not lieing ) and if and when your dog is Injured

dont admit that it was being worked at the time...

I think this is a good thread for young hunters and evan experienced hunters to see I would like to here wethere they would cover working dogs and on what sort of injuries

The household name insurance companies won't - from what I have seen insure working lurchers, racing or coursing dogs.
