I can't remember where but i read something somewhere suggesting that until last year, the amount of money the this country spent on benefits (genuine or non-genuine) was greater than the total amount of income tax taken by the country. I hope that's not true

Don't forget that National Service is not the same as conscription.

In countries with National service (Austria, Denmark, Germany, Greece, Israel, Iran, Norway, Finland, Russia, Switzerland, Turkey) it has 2 options: Military service (forces) or Civil Service (working for council/local government).

No-one should be forced to fight if they don't want to, but no-one should need to be forced to work either.

Rather than make national service compulsory make it a choice. If you refuse every job offered for 12 months pack your bags lad, you're going to Afganistan.

hope they get the cnut lives near me walks with a stick when he needs to reg alccey and drug user with a motibilty car lives in a 3 bed house all paid for because his mrs and kids left him after he beat her up with a baseball bat ... my lads kicked his arse and some others done his windows but he`s still here 3 year on ...1st rate :wankerzo4: .. dont walk with a stick when he`s pissed .. always got money in his sky gets taxis 3 or 4 times a week and sainsburys deliver his food to the door ,, house stood empty for 3 months while he did his jail ..

One thing that I hope changes is say if a person is a builder and gets a bad back from work. Well some now consider it there right to never work again, with state pension it could work out to 50 years on benefits.

These people should get non lifting jobs same as some genuinely disabled people do.

I have forgot to mention it on some applications as i was told by an adviser that you dont have to disclose it however if you were involved in a work related accident due to a disability and not disclosed it to your employer i dont think they would be too happy.
