well being new to the site i must say ive noticed a slight class war going on here!!! it seems that if you wear tracksuit bottoms and own a bull cross your automatically classed as a chav who does hunting more damage than good etc etc load of bollox!!! some of the best dogs in the uk have been breed,reared and lived there whole lifes in the roughest estates in Britain and their owners have nothing but the dogs best interest in mind and going without so the dog goes with!! i live about 30 mins drive from one of biggest council estate in europe and some of the dogs from there are right out of the top drawer and there defo not all bull crosses owning chavs who live there everything from whippets to deerhounds live on there and if you need anything to do with dogs you will always find it on there yes ive seen some things i wish i hadnt by the dickheads who give them a bad name but ive seen alot worse going on out in the countryside by people who most would at first think is a good dog man just because of his house,kennels etc guess what im saying is judge a man in the field not where he comes from

Council estates aren't the problem, it's so-called 'hardmen' with status dogs. If they found a job rather than lurking about trying to impress 15y old girls the country'd be a better place.

 

Mind you, there are plenty of 'hardmen' with status dogs all over the place, not just on council estates. Anyone can be a prick: Black or white, rich or poor, young or old, etc. Either way, they give dogs a bad name due to their misguided idea of 'hardness'.

Ive seen lads grouse beating in pissing down rain and fog with trackies on socks tucked in and airmax trainers on and yeah they do look daft and yeah they spend money on drugs and drink rather then decent gear but to be fair i think if anyone hunts or has an interest then i will most certainly give them my time of day ... at the end of the day we all enjoy getting out and hunting atb atch

Totally agree mister,I've got that impression off here,if your from council background means ye no good,load of crap,it shouldn't matter wer your from, if you work dogs and go about it the right way ye as good as any man on this site, good thread best one I've read yet

MYSELF HAVE no predigious wher one his bred reared or presides ,or chooses to live what i will say the best of dog men and women have lots in common.bank balances should never make a diference and neither should class .We all no the folks with big egos that have to be regular fed ,well thats life i suppose , and has for trackie bottoms etc and the real tree folk well thats ther perogative but myself like to keep alow profile so its trackie bottoms and a very bright flash jacket ha ha , or a good second hand coat from th local charity shop. what i will say those with quality of life hunting etc are the ones with real riches .atb bunnys.

i agree there i wouldent be wearing tracksuit out for a hunt but nothing wrong with wearing them when your only taking the dogs a stroll yet people look at you as if your some sort of wanker and chav

This one will be a long drawn out class war thread funny how half slate chavs in tracksuit bottoms now someones put abit of thought into a thread and folk pop up defending folk that hunt in tracksuits ive seen a few decent dog men that come from council estates money or class had nothing to do with it but how they were as a person and no they didnt wear tracksuit bottoms,sadly most of what ye see now is young lads banging out litters for spare cash,killing everything as soon as the corns cut,driving the land kicking down fences to get on they buy and sell dogs on like there going out of fashion if ye had said ye statement in the 80s i would of agreed with ye but theres not much good coming outta council estates now dog wise,so if your genuine carry on ye crusade for the chav hunter if not why stir the shite seems pointless to me

very true mate if you looked at it like that but obviously i dont mean the people you mention who know f**k all but think they no everything, there idiots hedz im on about the genuine folk, hard working lads, the same decent type you mention and im defo not crusading for chav hunters im sure they are hated as much by there own for f*****g it up as people who have never met them!!! im not on about 5 minute wonders mate im talking about the ones in it for the long haul no matter whats thrown at them

nothing wrong with council estates but more so when they come into the country side driving daft subbies over wheat b, dont no lie of land and well get caut a lot of them ,were if you stay no the land well you no more of the pitfalls.its not council satates its eejits in general and im afraid runnng dogs attract them ,nothing wrong with a pair of black trackies with no buttons ideal for nets nowt to get tangled on them ,warm and cheap enough to throw away ,for some the country side is aplayground to others its away to make a living thtas the diffrent with poachers hunters and once a week guys who come from town to country at times
