Yea Archie, I know where the line comes from, but what has it got to do with the post? Nothing? I have read the post 4 times and I still dont see anything in it with reference to any act or scenes from dirty harry, no just a pillock in dpm killing a kit a close distance was all i got from the post.

 

Mike, are you just posting stuff like this so you can hit 1000 posts since joining in January this year and so far have earned the 'Avatar only' title of 'extreme hunter' - I just dont get it, its almost like there are 2 people posting under your name, one posts some useful stuff, the other posts some stuff very left of centre.

 

Can we please have the person hiding inside Mike back , please I miss his useful posts

I didn't get the significance of the line till the penny dropped that this was a Clint Eastwood/Dirty Harry movie line and this is a post from the secret world of Moley Mike . To you or me, it's a shot on a rabbit in the grass, calculated, estimated and trigger released; job done!.

 

But to Mike, it's turned into a shot on a sneaky unshaven bad guy in the dusts of the American west, a building music score by Lalo Schiffrin heightening the drama of the moment and a quietly uttered, "D'ya feel lucky punk!" through clenched teeth gripping an unlit fag. He may be using a BSA PCP but, it's now a .44 calibre cannon about to emit an ear-splitting boom and the bad guy is 'toast'!!

 

You just have to read it and put yourself in his zone Mark.
