samstorm 34
Got my first beddyx last year. Will never have a dog without beddy in it now. Very bidable cracking feet and coat does exactly what I want Quote Link to post
lurchermania 25
Whipett mate but I'm looking towards border terrier x whippet Quote Link to post
BORDERSCOT 3,816
Collie Greyhound for me. I've had both 1/2 bred and 3/4 bred and currently have a 7 month old 3/4 bred puppy. Did rabbit, hare, fox deer with my 3/4s pre ban of course. Half cross couldn't have caught a hare to save his life (ironically lost his life coursing a hare) but was the real thing on everything else and could outstay the 3/4 bred every time. Tractable, loyal, tough, athletic and gutsy I wouldn't have anything else. Quote Link to post
fordie 8
I like the Collie/Greyhound cuz they are one of the easiest to train they have stamina, toughness, endurance, longevity, coat, good feet, and a desire to work close that what I want in a rabbiting dog Quote Link to post

Very bidable cracking feet and coat does exactly what I want I think Bedlington/Greyhound or Whippet has ferocious prey drive (truly a wolf in sheeps clothing) cross with a Whippet, giving even more fire and speed and the attitude of coming back with their shield or on it easy to train the downside is coat, for the linty Bedlington coat is not weartherproof, and picks up all manner of detritus when working in cover - and ho boy do they work cover I have one any day Quote Link to post
