Recommended Posts

hi lads just wondering if you lot could give me an update on which precharges are best? ive a rapid 7 at the mo which id had for years but im after something alot lighter and has to be multishot. im also after something which is full power, (none of that 9ftllb rubbish) which in my opinion is a noncence especially when youre paying top money. cheers

Can you get a multi shot converter for your model of Ultra?

Just to put another slant on it, mate but if the main reason you're thinking of changing is so your lad/lass can learn to shoot, you may be better of getting a basic springer and keeping your Rapid.

That way they'll get used to recoil and how not to get into lazy habbits regarding hold.

Just a thought, mate and good luck however you choose to go on

Cheers.

I ain't an expert on rifles by any stretch  I have a precharged Webley Venom Viper i bought 12y ago and it has always done the job for me. Built in silencer, bolt action, 2 shot sprung mag. I'm happy anyway. Just waiting for someone to slate me for having an ancient rifle now...

I couldn't tell you how old my HW77 is, it was bought when they first came out :D

1985 ish...?? :hmm:

That's about when the HW77 appeared Andy. I'd love to find some of the early original 77s and see how they shoot. Wonderful rifle.
