NEWKID 27,670
My closest friend, the man who first took me out with a dog when I was only 6 died last week, it was his funeral on thurs he was only 56. It made me realise how much I owe him he taught me to hunt and fish and every weekend ( and some school nights) were the best times ever. He would pick me up on a friday night to go lamping then saturday and sunday we would ferret or fish. I managed to get out for a day with him a couple of months ago I took him ferreting with my brother and my son, who's 5. He was by then quite ill and i had that horrible feeling that may have been my last time out with him. Although I offered him out a few more times it was obvious he was'nt up to it. I aim to give my son the same as he gave me, time, not many people ever offer you the amount of time he gave me and for that I am forever grateful. He's severey missed already. Good for you boy,... I respect,.your respect.. And remember,.Goodfellahs,..never die.... Thankyou Quote Link to post
