cathunter 8
how big do you think he will be? what height / weight? his sire and dam are 3/4 stag cross 1/4 grey (never got to measure them but my guess was about 27in dam and 29 in sire) he is 13 kg and 19 1/2 inch tall at 15 weeks old Quote Link to post
cathunter 8
He is my first purpose bred running dog, he's been out with my old dog in a rabbit infested area. once with the torch, once with spot light and about 6 times during the day, i'm not asking anything of him at min, just letting him follow the old dog about to see what what the go is. am i getting him out to young? the ground he is on is sand and bracken, with a bit of pine forest aswell. he gets walked a few blocks every couple of days, but he gets let out of his pen(where he is housed with the other dog) every day for a romp around the yard. cathunter 8
28in to 30in mate thanks , been trying to work it out, but wasn't 100% shaw, as he has a very log and thin tail compared to a mates pup that is a similar cross, Quote Link to post

beddylurcher 70
Sorry to hijack your thread but was wondering what height you think my bitch will be? Her dam was 1/4 collie 3/4 grey sire was beddy whippet collie grey and she is just under 19" at 14 weeks old. Thanks andy. Quote Link to post
Ideation 8,216
Lovely looking pup, nothing wrong with letting him experience stuff at that age, but i'd try to avoid him blazing off after a bunny through a pine wood at 3 and a bit month, could be asking for trouble. But like i said, nowt wrong with him drinking it all in. Quote Link to post
