Like I said, my current bitch 3/4 grey / 1/4 deerhound, 29" 85lbs, very fast, decent stamina, a genuine allrounder, totally committed and a superb natural hunter and killer of game

My best all-rounder was a twenty three and a half inch, 45lb in weight black bitch Bes, a lurcher x lurcher bred down from deerhound crosses, my best rabbiter was her great grand daughter, Yella, another twenty three and a half inch black bitch.

I had a first cross Bedlington/Greyhound stood at 24" and took all quarry.He was a very reliable dog and went lame only once (cut hock).He was still knocking large game over into his 11th season.
