KenKeeping 13
My Sal is always rolling in Horse Shit. Its a bit of a larf when on the way home and someone comes across to give him a stroke mind, lol. They shy off next time we meet them, lol. It is from when wild dogs used to camoflage their scent when hunting so I was led to belive. Something we have to put up with. Ive got used to living with my missus, so a bit of shit aint no problem, lol. Quote Link to post
baw 4,360
I had one years ago done it too, any shit, even bird shit I believe they do it to bring the scent back to the pack to let you know their is a dog/fox/bird!!! in the packs hunting ground. I suppose if you dont have any hands, the f*****g neck and back is the next best thing  Quote Link to post
shroob 9
My lakeland loves rolling in anything. Especially fox dung and eating horse poo. Quote Link to post
BORDERSCOT 3,816
My dogs have rolled in allsorts over the years and if they live in it can be a pain. This might sound crazy but I did once watch someone on the telly saying tomato sauce gets rid of the smell pretty quick. Never tried it - but the premise probably is that it'll smell better than shit??? Dunno if it has to be Heinz tho??? Quote Link to post
