niall_b73 41
fishing very bad on river suir at moment lots of moss rolling down and water low "River Suir - water up. Philip Maher reports from his River Suir Fishery: A lot of rain in the midlands rose the river about a foot with a good colour. This should bring in a few more Springers." niall_b73 Quote Link to post
niall_b73 41
how is the mourne or moy fishing "Water levels are high on the River Moy with only some fish reported. Rising water levels have hampered angling efforts on the Moy in recent days. However, the East Mayo Anglers Association water produced two salmon for the week. The first spring fish of the season retained on the Association’s water was caught by Mark Kirwan, Co. Kildare, and weighed 8 lbs. Swinford anger Gerry Hegarty took the second of the week on the Association’s waters, a fine fish of 12.5 lbs. Water levels on the lower Moy are high at present and are expected to rise further in coming days. Bryan Ward" niall_b73 Quote Link to post
