whippeter69 88
Variable Can dim it right down and not blind the animal with a full beam and just use a small amount of light which is VERY handy when trying to call a fox or walk up to a rabbit. Quote Link to post

Dave N 9
I used a 170 striker for last couple of seasons it is good lamp after i re-wired it!! Got a 140 striker variable power at the start of year my intention was to change the head on the lamp and bulb with my 170 head but after using the 140 with 100w bulb i think its a better lamp than the 170 its a better size fits down the jacket sleave and beam just as good as 170. The variable power is superb after using one i would never go back transforms MY night out!! 12v 14amp Lithium battery is cracking bit of kit to if it only lasts two seasons i will go buy another one... Worth it!! Quote Link to post
