for all round gun rabbit and fox the hornet and 17 cal rifles take some beating. downside is you need to reload for them both to get the best out of them. as factory ammo for both isnt the cheapest. great rounds though.

As said the heads used are same as that in .223 (.224 diameter) but you will only use the ones up to 45gn in weight

If you reload them it will be cheaper than the .223 because you only use half the amount of powder. But if you have to buy full rounds then it can be more expensive than the .223, so reloading is best option. i reload mine for approx 30 pence per round ( not including cases ) i re-use fired cases.
