MOO 730 Posted March 27, 2011 Report Share Posted March 27, 2011 I spied a doe yesterday that looked poorly I had seen her a few times this winter she is barron so decided to drop her but not keen on does at this time of year she looked healthy enough but had long feet ive seen this alot with reds when theyve had an injury and have seen them nearly 10 inches long in severe cases on reds but have had 2 roe this year like this . when I dresseed her out she had a deformity on the left shoulder and her kidneys were very small and deformed but she was not thin and wieghed in at 13kg carcass wiegth which is ok for this time of year and the winter weve had There is a name for feet like this but cant remember what it is .....not long for the bucks now Quote Link to post

I know in some animals feet problems can occur when the animal has authritus and it trys to compensate for that by walking diffrently therefore causing the feet to overgrow Quote Link to post
