Hedge_hunter27 18
Returned today to the farm I went to last week with the smoker this time, unfortunately our usual friends had other commitments & were unable to come, not the same without you two :friends: . We started outside with the smoker but only a few bolted . The two pensioners & best buddies working together . Bramble bushes are growing fast. The young one Ozzy getting stuck in, finding his very own rat :clapping: . Only to bolt straight into Fudges mouth :11: . The next spot was a new place the farmer pointed out so in went the smoker, a few minutes passed , then all of a sudden about 6 or so rats bolted , didn’t get the camera out quick enough . Nipper & Fudge having a tug of war & Tess just observing :11: . We then went for a look around the pig pens but on the way Tess marked near the slurry pit so what did my stupid fecker of a dog Fudge do, jump in it , sinking in :piggy: shit by the minute but then disappeared under some heavy metal sheets that we couldn’t lift , I ran for the farmer, I thought she was a goner . The farmer came & we moved a board & he managed to grab her to get her out but as soon as he did the rest of the stupid feckers jumped in  , my other dog included so I’m stood there trying to keep hold of one dog & grab as many more as I could shouting “grab the dogs,†anyway got them all out & the farmer boarded it up so they couldn’t go back in. Phew, panic over . In the pig pens at last. Waiting for them to bolt. My nephew armed & ready with his stick :11: . Nipper getting a nasty bite :black eye: . The chase. The catch. And my nephew trying to get Fudge to “leave it.†A couple of hours managed 30 rats, end of day pic with only 29 as the lurcher ate one . 2 Quote Link to post
