M.Gowland 0
Just got my new pup today, 3/4 whippet 1/4 bedlington and she is 7 weeks old. I am planning on keeping her outside in a kennel, I was just wondering would she be ok to put her out now so that she gets used with being outside or should I maybe wait till she is a little older? Any advise would be much appreciated thanks. Quote Link to post
morton 5,368
If you cannot give it an heat source outside then i would keep it indoors for a couple of months,at such a young age the pup needs to be warm and comfortable. Quote Link to post
M.Gowland 0
At what age roughly in months do you think she will be ready? Quote Link to post

morton 5,368
A warm comfortable puppy eats better, sleeps better and thrives better, when the weather improves enough so that the pup can sleep outside without heat, from late May,then put it outside.Id stagger the process initially putting it out during the day, from early May,and taking it in at night. After a few weeks leave it out.
