johnrthrfrd 223 Posted March 26, 2011 Report Share Posted March 26, 2011 Went out the smornning to give the ferts there egg and milk did the hobs first then went to the big court were thr 5 jills are only 4 apeared thought nowt of it but when i went back out still only 4 eating opened the sleeping end and found my favorite albino and the 1 i work the most lieing in the bed picked her up and she was a bit shacky. so i brought her in the house put her in a cat box and gave her a bit of egg and milk which she drank some of so gave her some best mince which she ate kept an eye on her all day and have kept giving her small drinks and bits off mince which she has ate. just checked on her and she looks a bit brighter but is still not her self will leave her in the cat box in the house and see what she is like in the morning. john. You need to get some proper food into them,either fresh rabbit etc. or some decent dry feed,something like James Wellbeloved.I thought feeding milk and eggs went out in the 70's,they need proper food or they will be very sickly7.A ferret has a very basic intestinal tract,so it needs to have a high protien diet so as to be able to get any goodness out of what they eat.I hope you take this in the manner it is meant by the way.
