Evolution of the hunter

Recommended Posts

At the beginning of time man used his hands to hunt throwing rocks, this had limited success................ He then made spears which helped tremendously........from this idea he created the bow and arrow, a superb weapon which had great success. He befriended the horse and this also helped him cover more ground...........he then befriended the dog and this is where his hunting abilities took off.........with man and dog hunting together, they never went hungry.....he honed the dog over the centuries to become the ultimate hunting machine.....some men couldn't tame dogs and still used primitive methods.....this continued till the invetion of the gun.....for the first time the hunter didn't need to move around as much and stealth wasn't as big an issue....2 camps evolved, the hunter and the shooter.....the hunter used his ability and guile to catch his prey, enjoying the chase as much as the catch, for him it is all about being one with nature, taking his prey as natural as possible.....the shooter on the other hand, created a gun which helped to hide his lack of accuracy, he got fed up trying to hunt wild animals and produced his own creature to hunt......he bred the most stupidest bird mother nature has ever seen and employed people to scare the birds towards him so he didn't have to move......so here we have arrived at man today, the hunter and the shooter :tongue2:
