SEAN3513 7
these take some beating or here and you should be ok with different tyre size aslong as the are the same on each axle

SEAN3513 7
you can change to any size ( as long as they fit your rim).......and as long as they are exactly the same size tyre on each axle. i.e......the front axle can have different size tyres to the rear axle. 265 = tyre width 70 = profile 15= rim size try imperial sizes too....they are often cheaper...... ( 30.5 x 15 ) colway mt etc

smithie 2,443
So the rim wont take a 235 if its got a 265 on now xxxxxc ff my car is nearly 3 ton and i wanted to put 235 on the rims rather than 265 as im a bit tight... i was advised not to as the weight would be to much. ( acording to the bos on the nissan forum )...
Taxi Dave 0
Your 265/70 x 15's are 752mm tall and 235/70 x 15's are 710mm tall, so you'll lose 42mm in tyre size or actually 21mm in ride height. It might be enough to knock your speedo out a bit.
