mattydski 560
i'll try... The temperature controller comes with a thermocouple, which is inserted in to the poly box at egg top height. This is the wire you see coming out of the dimmer switch. This was sourced through ebay. The dimmer switch is there to control brightness of the light bulb. This allows me to reduce the switching frequency of the temp controller. Otherwise it would be on/off/on/off very frequently. I also used a PC fan, but used a 12v mini drill transformer to get the correct voltage and give some adjust-ability to the fan speed and intensity. To control humidity, I put a dish of water under the lightbulb end. There were also ventilation holes (adjustable) and a viewing window. DONT put his directly above the eggs in the lid though, as condensation is heavy. Make sure you have at least 4-5 spare bulbs at any time... They blow due to condensation. If you are doing it in any big volume, it may be worth having a temperature alarm controller as well... Which would set an alarm off if the temp dropped bellow a threshold, as oppose to the normal operating drops. It may be better to use the high humidity lamps used in vivariums
