We got asked to ferret our farmers mates today, big suprise was two black rabbits, seasons over but had to show face.

Bit off topic , what are those cattledogs like temperment wise , would they be any use as a general moocher ,bushing dog ?

I have had cattle dogs for 18 years and used them for lamping all quarry, ferreting and mooching, now I have a 10 year old veteran and a 3 year old grew x ACD, i dont Lamp any more but ferret and bush with her , no complaints a good honest little worker, has high prey drive and wants every rabbit, can sometimes be hard work because of this but worth it.
