Moley. There is a difference between a brainless wanker accidentally shooting someone (personally, I think thick-twat Cole did it on purpose for a laugh, having no idea of what a pellet from that rifle would actually do) and a bunch of brainless wankers shooting people deliberately.

 

The Police have acted properly. Confiscate the rifle (to be destroyed) and haul these low vermin into the van and up before the beak.

 

The best punishment would be a spell inside and their identities passed to every gunshop RFD on a life-banning list from ever owning or possessing an air rifle or pistol or any FAC/shotgun certificate ever again. If they are found with one, back inside!

 

Edit to add; That goes for Cole too. He should also be on a banned-list and refused any app for a FAC or Shotgun ticket for life.

I agree with you there Simon, ban them for owning anything that can fire a projectile weapon for life, catapaults included and I do not care if one of them is a future coarse angling captain of England (I now they probably never will be but I am thinking of all possible uses for a catapault)! They have forfeited the right to have a weapon that fires a projectile by their stupid use of this air gun!

Is it just the wolf moon causing this spate of air gun incidents, there has been absolutely no press on airgun crime for a very long time.

 

Then all of a sudden there is a spate of high profile incidents, cole is a wanker and should have been prosecuted, I bet if he was a retured footballer he would have been. The group in Scotland then these idiots.

 

Strange things happen when there is a fight going on at government level regarding airgun laws and devolution to Scotland ( there arent always such things happening that can be put under the heading of'coincidences')

i agree that there has been, over the last couple of months, an increase in bad publicity for our sport. bored people with dangerous weapons its going to end in tears. and it will, eventually, affect us all .
