dry food

meat gos off too fast in the summer mths :wallbash:.you need to look it up on how much to feed a ferret then dont you think

Your doing my head in. He can always feed the meat in small enough portions that it is immediately consumed then remove it when they are done, so no meat goes off in the cage or just put it in at night and remove in the morning. Ferrets also eat different amounts so i'm sure he knows better than a book how much his ferrets eat. See. . . . you don't know it all!

so why not do that with dry food then to stop your ferrets getting fat as you said they do get fat on dry food ???????????????????????? :doh : :doh:

I did take the dry food out during the day, otherwise it would get covered in flies during the summer. Did you actually read my post? they were eating less than a handful of food per day....my point was that even though they were eating LESS THAN A HANDFUL OF FOOD PER DAY, they were still getting fat.

Why do you feel the need to preach to everyone? As in my experience people who feel the need to tell everyone everything, generally have something to proove....
