ryno 11 Posted March 27, 2011 Author Report Share Posted March 27, 2011 i have just erected my first aviary its 4meters long, 1.5 wide and 1.5 high i was intending to keep 5 pairs of british finches and 2 quails is my aviary suitable in size,also will greenies,goldies,siskins,linnets and chaffinches live in harmony.thanks in advance for any replies it is most appreciated atb ryan picked up my first pair of greenies this morning and i'm over the moon they seem to have settled straight in Quote Link to post Share on other sites

A GOOD FRIEND OF MINE HAS BEEN ON ABOUT DOING A DVD ON ONE OF THE GREATS OF THE BRITISH BIRD WORLD ESPECIALLY HIS KNOWLEDGE ON COLLECTING WILD FOOD AND ITS STORAGE , IVE BEEN BULLYING HIM INTO GETTING HIS ARSE INTO GEAR , BUT HAVE FAILED MISERABLY ... AS YET !! YES GREENIES ARE EASIER TO BREED THAN MANY THOUGH FOR CHUCKING THEM OUT NOT MANY COULD BEAT A PAIR OF LOVEBIRDS I GOT LUMBERED WITH WHEN A SO - CALLED MATE GAVE THEM TO ONE OF MY DAUGHTERS , HELL THE FIRST YEAR SHE RAISED 47 YOUNG !!
