be careful what you buy mate, theres a lot of shit about at this time of year, its usually stock thats not made the grade, your best bet is listen out for someone packing in or wait til after breeding season, when theres shitloads knocking about

I find the greenies bully f**k out of the others especially those which come into breeding condition slightly later, by which time the greenies have decided they own all the space in the aviary.

I'd house them separately and try goldies, siskins and, or redpolls together. Greenies are usually on the second clutch by the time these breeds are feeding young. Plenty of hardheads, alder, thistle and meadowsweet at the back end of summer to get them through the moult.

As already said just keep eye on greenies they tend to bully birds from nests and take nesting material if kept too close.

the egg food and soaked seed you put in for your breeding pairs will be scoffed by a feeding pair of greenies ,so just keep an eye out.

goldie, linnet, siskin, redpoll, will give you loads of enjoyment and all the music you need ........good luck..........steve
