skycat 6,173
Now that's an unfair question as the only one with its ears pricked, and therefore looking more alert, is the dark one: me and my other half both said "That one!" at the same time, and then realised why: its because its looking hard at something. Tell you what: take some pics of them front on with their ears all pricked and then ask us!! LOL: might be a little tricky I admit. Quote Link to post

The fawn is the smallest the dark brindle the biggest it is their first time on the yard today without mum,the fawn come straight out no fear the dark brindle even barked at a car arriving. Will try and take some more tommorow. collie/grey 238
Definately the dark one, it caught my eye, it looks alert and strong. Quote Link to post
Dawn B 212
To me, all those puppies look nice. The conformation on all is identical, good bone etc.. its really down to the temperament, go for a bouncey, outgoing one, one that doesnt back off and is friendly etc.,. If they are all like that, then pull straws because they all look lovely! Dawn. Quote Link to post
Simoman 110
Hi Alun, Have you considered puppy testing them? You can test for things like retreive instinct, prey drive etc? Quote Link to post

Simoman 110
I have some paperwork at home form when I tested my pup. Its a list of tests that help determine a pups future dominance, retreive, sound sensitivity. We have tested litters of collies, shepherds, spaniels and they are pretty accurate. I can try and dig them out if you want? Quote Link to post
snoopdog 1,256
iam not a colour man myself.. i look for a few different things in a pup eyes feet lenght boldness domination its all the luck of the draw after that ...what do you intend doing with the pup if you are going to run iton a lot of game mabye you would look for the more slender longer pup ..at the end of the day once you have picked your pup ..its all down to you ...colour comes last in my book ..dont get me wrong we all have favorite colours but dont let that disstract you from the important things in a pup..JMHO..good luck whith your choice and dont pick one for the ladies so they go aaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwww...its a working dog ..not a cuddley toy..
