bunnys 1,228
Can't wait to see the dog when he's running fit next season. I've seen many dogs come on good from non hunting backgrounds but never seen it to be so swift. In total he ran 11 and caught 7 so isn't to bad considering. And he is a strong animal to I'd say a good -90lb in weight and to be fair he runs like he's got a rocket up his ass. I ran 20 odd with mine and only caught 12 and mines been lamped now for 3 seasons so he knows what he's doing. I'm more shocked of how quick he has learnt the lamp in all my time with lurchers I've never seen it learnt so quick. In terms of in reality I could probably slip him 300-500 yards down the beam if I really wanted to all ready and works the lamp back to me just from short whistle. Be interesting next season as the bloke and dog will be coming with me alot and i'll get to see just what kind of animal he will make. Sorry for the life story lol just one last thing has anyone else had experience with this kind of breeding as this is the first time I've seen one bred this way the alsation xs canbe a very underestimated xs and yes fell i know what one means with the long slips on spooky rabbs , i have witnesed these types perform aswell if not better thanpurpose bred animals on small and large game . atb bunnys.
