gurtwurz 792
hi lads, its been a while since i posted owt, so here's a couple of piccys from a couple of recent walks with the mutt, since i keep forgetting to take either my phone(so i can have a mooch in peace!! ) or a camera, and i havent had the time to go out hunting properly... none of these are owt special distance wise or anything, its just been when a mental jack russell's been well behaved enough to let me get off a shot without disturbing the quarry well in advance!! hope you enjoy em all shot with the HW95ks, which is a lot more accurate than the numpty shooting it usually!! however, it may be taking second place to the new springer, currently on order and winging its way over from germany. i'll say no more, until it arrives, which should be within 25 sleeps... all the very best, wurz Quote Link to post

zini 1,939
Nice quality photos there John buddy and some very nice placed shots I especially like the one with the russel in. Them HW springers are just amazing arnt they? I went and shouldered a HW97KT(S) today at Drapers air rifle centre and it was just amazing to hold. It almost became part of my shoulder. Umm so what could John be getting? I hate surprises My guess is a HW57. ATB Si Quote Link to post

gurtwurz 792
Nicely done, Wurz Diana Stutzen...?? absolutely bang on andy mate it should be here in 4 weeks, or 26 sleeps... the new model 430 with t-06 trigger and sliding pellet port, oh yes i had a little windfall and the missus gave it the greenlight, hence the pm concerning low scopes as i wanna keep it old school, nice small optics and no moderator, since that'd truely ruin a thing of beauty... i hate waiting tho! cheers, wurz Quote Link to post

Great choice, Wurz, I really rate Diana's gun's and it's just a shame they aren't more widely used IMO. They are at least as good to shoot as ANY other spring rifle. I guess it's mainly to do with the fact that they tend to cost a bit more than most of their rivals, which is a shame.... The JSR scope you asked about will top it off perfectly. Quality optics, nice and compact and plenty enough mag for airgun use. Works a treat on my 52 Cheers!! Quote Link to post
pianoman 3,587
YES YES YES!!!!!! Awww Diana 430 Stutzen!! Now you're talking about a seriously beautiful rifle. Just like the 46 Stutzen except that they gave the 430 model a conventional sliding breech instead of that pop-up unit. For a scope that will bring the very best out of her Wurz, have a hunt around for a second user SIMMONS WHITETAIL CLASSIC 4.5-14x40 AO SUPERNIGHTVIEW. I have one on my HW80 FAC .22 and another for my HW77 and it is an incredibly accurate scope for a spring rifle as good as these Dianas and Weihrauchs. This is the very scope I was using for my 77 when Si and Andy came over the other day. Simmons alas, do not make this model WTC anymore, hence a search on the secondary market. But, if you find one, bag it. This scope is absolutely perfect for your new rifle's looks, ballance and handling. It's a 30-30 duplex old-school Wurz mate, but if you are fine with these you'll love what it will do for your Stutzen. Really thrilled and pleased you are getting one of these at last mate. I'm sure it's going to be the absolute apple of your eye. Never let this HW95K go though buddy. This is top shooting you have here and a rifle as good as these don't fall into your hands so often these days Simon Quote Link to post
