Bosun11 537 Posted March 24, 2011 Report Share Posted March 24, 2011 think pie is dead now ,i,ve got a pup out the lines ,the pie dog was grandsire ,its like all lines you,ll get good a bad dogs ,get some pics of your dog and i,ll 2 sort s pics of pie dog ,and i would,nt read 2 much in what mate saying it what happens in the field were it matters in bold and i have got a pup out of the lines not from both sides or 5 generations ,but it was my pups greatsire so its pretty watered down then . anyone got any purebred stuff out of him or did it all die out , i love the old school stuff There is still tight bred stuff Chimp, it's few and far between now but still around, if you know where to look... As for the no tail slowing them down what alot of garbage i know a bloke about 8 year ago had a big black racing greyhound with yeah you guessed it no tail abba was his name and he smashed the track recored and won more open races than any other dog he had in his kennel of 30 odd dogs he also had a big tan dog with a docked tail whom also won more than his fair share so i can assure you if its in the dog then the loss of its tail will be the last thing that slows it down but if an open race greyhound can cope without one im sure a bloody bullx can catch a damn charlie without one . running round a track and chasing tackles 2 diffrent things pal tail act as a rudder for twisting and turning Do you honestly think a dog with no tail can't twist and turn?
