London/Essex Lurchers

Just wondering who's out there round and about London Essex ways, anyone any know of any where to take the dog. A man in the park told me to head to Bluewater for some whippet coursing. He didn't have much more info than that.

Any clubs, meets, shows comign up?

I have a 7/8 month whippet/grey/saluki, all the dogs in the park are too fat and slow, he needs a good run!

Maybe he mean't Ockendon training track, they train and exercise dogs for Romford dog track. You can pay and run on Sundays if that's what you want.

There is a whippet racing club that run at Thurrock Rugby Club ground in Grays.
