You should always zero before any type of hunting pal as a matter of routine.

Get ready at home get to permission and zero, I take 35 yards of string and to wood pegs in the game bag for accurate zero range.

Cheers karma

In a word , NO . Although things can look very different through a scope at night , especially using a red filter . It may take a while to get used to judging distances , as always , get to `know` your set up , and it`ll be fine .

Ah right ok pal. If your out from daylight to night it takes a couple of minutes.

So to sumerise pal if you unsure slap ya scope before dusk and zero fast. My scope always seems to need a click here and there when messing.

So as you see my inital post don't change much.

Sorry Mole i have been lamping a few years now and i never have had to re zero either a springer or a pcp once i fit a lamp.

I always zero last light then fit the lamp and shoot having the same poi.

If you fit a lamp on your silencer or towards the end of your barrel, especially if you have a free floating barrel you can get effected with something called barrel droop where your poi will lower by anything from 1/2 inch to 2 inches.

I think thats what Simon was meaning buddy.

I am sure he said even after a scope mount, I might well be wrong, but that is what I thought he said! Anyway, I don't worry now, got inflatable guns!

Im with you on this buster.

I have never had to re-zero any rifle after fitting it with a lamp.

As already said your judgement of distance will alter but thats down to your eyesight not your set up.
