Had this lot over the last two weeks from an area of self-set ash and hazel. Thumbsticks, shanks, long-net pegs etc. Anything that doen't make the grade as a good stick is used for snare or trap holding pegs, nothing gets wasted.

Great to see young lads showing so much interest.

Pardon my ignorance but what wood were you after? was it Willow? or mavbe Hazel?

 

99% of this haul was hazel but i will have any forks! just recently i managed a holly fork,hens teeth they are!

hi fishfish whats the soundtrack to this video called?i remember that tune from a show when i was a kid,think it was called the brendan chase. cigar for me yes or no? thought it was a great show,rose tinted specs,would probably think it was shite if i saw it now.
