decoy layout

Hi there

I have recently took up pigeon shooting, and was wandering if anyone could give me some tips or ideas on how to succesfully bring in the woddies. I havent seen many decoy layouts but have been told they vary ? pictures welcome.

Hi there mate, a typical patter that most of us use is the horse shoe pattern, basicaly a big u shape out infront of your hide, if you would like. more info on pigeon shooting, get onto the pigeon watch forum website, an excellent site with some real good guys on there full of advise and experience, hope this helps cheers hh

try the shape of a comma with bouncers coming into the kill zone,but PW is a very good page to look on

thanks for the advice guys I was also wandering if these rotary machines (pigeon magnets) are as good as people rate them cause they are quite exspensive, if they are has anyone got a cheaper methods or is it best to invest

Do know any good websites that sell cheap pigeon magnets? because I have seen them working and want to get my hands on one.

theres loads of sites that sell them if you google it should come up with loads for you, this one seems to have good reports for good service not sure if its the cheapest tho,

I'm selling mine mate it's a good un with extendable arms, v wing spreaders & magtame speed controller. Cost me a small fortune a year ago but I just don't use it! Where you based (using me phone so can't see)
