went out for a mooch on my best permission this evening lots of old warrens, i took my block of wood with a target on an had a zero one click left spot on pellet on pellet! ( this hawke scope is good kit) . well i walked back through the owners stables and menage and was met by their english bull terrier who is a handfull she nipped me a few times all in fun mind.

I have a spot facing one warren so i got my M&S picnic sheet down got my poor mans bipod out the game bag an lay in wait! 5 mins an some big ears pop up from a hole followed by a large bunny, as a rule i like them a bit further from the hole but as i know that the distance is 30 yards (my zero) i took the shot ding dong just behind the eye leg wave over an out. :gunsmilie:

I went and picked it up and it was a big one popped it in the bag and walked to anther spot as the light faded, laid in wait for over half an hour and shot another i stayed put this time and it got dark (well darkish) i figured a security light was on by the stables but it never went off! so i had a look behind me and it was no light it was the moon i was casting a shadow :o. it put a damper on the lamping session i was intending as it was light enough to be seen, i packed up happy enough as i dont want to obliterate this permission like i have my last fave one and i have set myself a 4 bunny limit the land owners are happy to have the numbers reduced and arent pushing for a total wipeout which is nice cus i dont like shooting the scruffs. thats it heres some pics i didnt get a pic of the second one as me phone has no flash.

Hmmm :hmm: :hmm: :hmm: I wonder...

If that fishing rod idleback could be padded to successfully support a spring rifle...??? :hmm: :hmm: :hmm: :hmm: :hmm: :hmm:

wouldnt know myself i aint shot a springer for 20 years and the one i had back then was one some one gave me with open sights. but for my pcp its bloody ideal as even though i fancy a bipod i dont want something cobbled on to me rifle that i have to lug about

tried one before on my hw77 it worked well  , didnt work so well on my mates hw95 though as this is a lot lighter and has more recoil, it seemed to move about a bit to much.

well done on the shooting mate. :gunsmilie:
