Glad I'm not alone then, I've been a fan since the early 70's when he was with Planxty. Some of his politics may differ from mine but he sure can put across his point of view. A vastly underrated talent.

Cheers Skinthegoat....I've just rustled through some old trial programs and it seems you and I stood in the same field once upon a time. The first list I looked at has 58 strong dogs scheduled to be tried, of which 34 were staffs, 12 wheatens, 2 half bred wheatens, 2 halfbred bulls, 3 bulls and 5 glens. 14 dogs certified, 8 of which were staffs (my own Red dog among them) 4 of which were wheatens, 1 bull and 1 halfbred wheaten.

The glens were ;-

P.J.R.'s glen dog.......Glen

" " " glen bitch.....Judy

J.H.'s glen dog.......Miller Boy

P.McM's glen dog.......Boldo

J.B.'s glen dog ......Max

Alas none of these certified, unless I omitted to mark them up.

On some other programs P.McM's Bosco is listed. I'm not sure if that was a printing error or a separate dog.
