Bullgreyhound advice

Recommended Posts

Hello all,

just after some advice if thats ok. I'm looking for a bullgreyhound pup to run with my saluki greyhound. I've seen a few 50/50 crosses but they're a bit heavy for my liking. Ideally I was after somthing a bit lighter but with a bull head. I've been told to go for a 5/8 3/8 but was just wondering what more experienced opinions may add.

Many thanks in advance and if anyone could post some pics that'd be great.

why the bull head, long as it works what does the head size matter

As above to me if the dog had a chihauha head and a bull x body wouldn't give a fool as long as it did the job head size means not alot mate have you ever seen say a grey or whippet with a bone and crunch the things like there chocolate when to look at them they hardly any jaw muscle showing and heads smaller than there neck it amazed me when I seen a greyhound crunch through bones quicker than a staffy type dog

greyhounds have strong jaws+ powerful dogs, and as above not really big heads, but hell of a good bite on them

thanks for advice fellas. I dont work my saluki greyhound but do loads of miles with her, walking, mountain biking the lot. A [bANNED TEXT] of mine has got a bullgreyhound and it's an awesome dog, always got his eye on his owner to see what he's up to. The dog follows him everywhere and always come back on a single whistle. I really like the look of him but want something that can do plenty of milage thats why I wanted it a bit lighter. The bull head is purely coz I like the look of it. He looks a real solidly built dog and very athletic.

Thanks for all your replies
