Retrieving !

Recommended Posts

My 14 month old lab is coming on very well, but when retrieving he sometimes stops about a metre away and messes about?

I throw a tennis ball every other day for him and use a dummy regular, maybe 3 to 4 times per week and he is fine but with pigeons he has started to muck about.

Any tips please to get him back to hand ?

Cheers

when he gets close with retrieve run away from him (in slow motion )and when he is close to you turn and accept the dummy from him make it a game don't let hime get bored.
