air gunner 0 Posted March 16, 2011 Report Share Posted March 16, 2011 Right so... i have now got my SGC but im still 17 so have no way of acquiring a gun, I cant buy one and doubt that anyone will gift me one... am I allowed to buy one on the For sale section on here? or what are the ways I can go about this? You can't buy a gun, so unless you have a very kind friend/family member who has an SGC and will buy the gun, and gift it to you, then you have no chance. No, you can't buy one off here, it's illegal to sell a shotgun to anyone under the age of 18, whether it's trade or private. Of course, if someone were to gift you a shotgun, and then you were to give them something of equivalent value as a gift, that would seem to be legal (don't quote me on that though) You can't buy cartridges anyway. I suppose you could always borrow one, or go shooting with someone who can bring one along. What did you want a shotgun for in the first place? If your insured I could let you have a go with mine but it's something I have found you need proper lessons to be any good at. PM me if you want to meet up. Quote Link to post
