It helps keep our feet on the ground when we see stuff like this. yes your right there pal ,and alot of those guys in the middle east do hunt live game , sometimes having to travel to different countrys to do it ,, but they see these big races as showing who has the best dog well in there eyes and lets be fair it needs good dogs to run at those speeds and distances , in 40 deg heat ! Great vid mate, good to see some decent saluki's for a change......... 2 and a half minutes eh, some effort. But if I had to be critical, it looks pretty slow, you can count the dogs strides, can't imagine you being able to count a greyhounds strides...... interesting though. Quote Link to post

It only took them over 2 minutes so that would mean they ran about 60 miles an hour.... I reckon it was about 800 metres Quote Link to post
