Over the last few days i've had some spare time. So, nipped off to BnQ to get some sheet material.

 

Still needs alot doing to it. Paint job, strap putting on and obviously catches on the front of the lids.

 

But here it is in its raw state.

 

(It is by no means perfect, and there are a couple of mistakes made, but I am pleased with it.)

looks good to me, get a bit of filler on the bit you damaged and get some wood stain on, you will never know lol

Its my fist attempt, so there is still a LOT I can improve.

Hopefully, with the finishing it wont look as shabby lol.

Nice looking box Just remember you can glue that ripped bit on and sand it

good effort -- mind that damage on the lid would do my head in i`d have to change it .. put some photos up of the finished job -- my mates lad did one last year painted it camo instead of wood stain ...

And, I was thinking of painting it differently.

 

My dads got a spray paint gun thing, so I could use it to my advantage.

 

We shall see.
