FPO 0
In line with the fitting thing, I had a dog that had 'Turns' Not full on fits but would do a shakeing head routine, could distract her and keep her out of it, Vet diagnosed it as ' a post hipatic shunt' (not spelt correctly) down to the diet and too much protien, body wasnt filtering it right and shunting too much to the brain. Changed the diet to less protien and didnt have problems after that. Long term it isnt advisable and worried the f out of me. Told to aim for more Carbohydrates for stamina than protein. Hob&Jill 258
Had her in there on friday, as I suspected the vets said nothing more conclusive than you lot "Well it could be......" "It might be dog acne......" "It could possibly be......" Cant f*****g stand vets Had to endure some fecking old woman telling be about her 'Bunnies', no not Rabbits, there fecking Bunnies! and how it has bad feet lol Felt like saying...... I DONT GIVE A SHIT!!! Went to find out what they were, came back without an answer, all the vet did was tell me she needs worming (and so do mums cats- how f*****g conveniant, hey?) Anyone else dispise vets? Or anyone know any vets that share interests in fieldsports? Edited February 17, 2007 by Hob&Jill
Guest Ditch_Shitter
Anyone else dispise vets? Know what, mate? I stopped and thought long and hard there. Realised something: I have NEVER, in a long life time so far, had a vet 'cure' ANYTHING on Any f*cking animal for me! Looking back, all they've ever done was, like yours there, sold me some half arsed if or maybe, could be this or that shit. Or else the f*cking creatures died despite what ever they've charged me!!! What do You think I think? Now get the Dog off the dried shit and onto flesh and bones. The Liver Spots'll likely clear up soon enough. No charge for that one, by the way
Hob&Jill 258
Actually Ditch, she had 2 rabbit legs today for dinner, got them last week and have been frozen, she did enjoy them, Bloomin dog caned the lot! fur and all. I have pleantly of pheasent I can give her aswel, loads that I get from beating, still in the freezer, she can have some tommorow. Slowly but surley Im geting there The vet also asked what I feed her, so I said mainly dry food, james wellbesomethingorother what did she reply? you should start feeding her on 'Science proplan' Which, coincidently they sold in reception- theiving b*****ds! But yes, She will be on meat soon enough Edited February 17, 2007 by Hob&Jill
Guest Ditch_Shitter
'Science'?! Yeah. That'd be it, mate. Feed the buggers on that shit and insure them with PetPlan. Then, later on down the line, the vet can cream a small fortune off ye insurance for treating the poor thing for cancer! Getting it nicely sewn up again, aren't they? Ye know, probably just before your time on here, I don't know, but someone mentioned a conversation one of their family had with a vet. " Oh, " said this person, " We feed our Dogs on a BARF diet. " This vet looked them straight in the eye and said ~ I kid ye not! ~ " 'BARF"? What's BARF? " I'm afraid I'd have slapped the c***!
