Bradford Lad 74
With spring nearly here on sunday i decided to have a wander around my permissions to have a good look at the state of the rabbit papulation after the seasons ferreting. I was pleased to see on my main bit of land that it still held excellent numbers and with plenty of recent young'uns taking their first trips out of the warrens. I'm lucky on this piece of land as the owner isnt asking for a clearence job and leaves me to my own devices!! Onto the next bit a land which is over the road and set into a hill, as pulled in i could again see good numbers sat bathing in the afternoon sun outside a huge warren which is set into the side of an old railway enbankment, again here i'm lucky as the adjoining farm is absolutely overun with rabbits who obviously replenish the numbers on my spot, the numbers that can be seen in his firleds on a summers night is unbelievable, the old lad that owns the land wont let anyone on to control the numbers(i know by law he's reponsible, but you try and tell him!!) it's a shame because last year his daughter had given me the nod but when i phoned up to let him know i was on my way he shot me down in flames!! I was very pleased with what i saw and cant wait to get going with the new Falcon Raptor I was wandering how everybody elses permissions were looking? Atb BL Quote Link to post
moxy 617
To put it bluntly mate " RAPED " We have had a bad doo recently with poaching scrotes and little pricks with thier bull crosses. On some spots the bunny populations are ok but lampshy as hell With a little vigilance on watching our spots they should recover and the grass is always greener on the other side Be in touch soon matey Quote Link to post

secretagentmole 1,701
What a bunch of miserable baskets! No responsibility for the land or for the quarry! Hopefully one day their dogs will view them as prey! Quote Link to post
